T he precise methodology for increasing bottom line profits and significantly adding value
to both successful and under-performing client companies has evolved from the many years
of senior level, hands-on business and turnaround experience of Renaissance consultants
(see Biographies
and Case Histories).

R enaissance provides an integrated family of business solutions individually tailored for
companies seeking to meet the challenges of the global market place-helping them to choose

Renaissance uses one (or a combination) of the following methods, so as to be
flexible in the way we work with clients

We work on an as-need basis and act as a sounding board to management for all aspects of the client's business such as helping to:


Interim Management or Turnaround Basis

Generally, we work with the CEO and report to the Board of Directors. We routinely assume the roll of interim COO, CFO, and--on occasion--CEO. All action items are accomplished with and through the company's management team.

While adding value, this process serves as a training tool, assuring that the successful systems and procedures instituted will continue after completion of the assignment. We quickly diagnose the problems and identify the immediate action steps necessary to proceed. We then execute each immediate action step, evaluate succeeding steps based on the effectiveness of the completed steps, and revise the plan as necessary.

As a result of this process, the following four key plans evolve:


Initial evaluation/assessment basis

Whether it is an assessment on a single, already well-defined problem or an overall evaluation of a company, Renaissance consultants provide objective, thoughtful insights and affordable, cost-effective solutions.

Depending upon the assignment, one or more specific facets of the business are quickly evaluated. This assessment could be as simple as a break-even valuation to help determine the worth of the company or as complicated as a complete critique of all aspects of the company's operations, markets, financing and corporate goals. Project Management Basis

We use a team approach utilizing client personnel and our proven senior level project mmanagers to provide overall guidance and leadership [included in this team may be outside strategic partners, where appropriate].

Our proven methodology and best practices model is to clearly establish project scope; specific business goals, phases and milestones for key deliverables; and effectively manage all resources. The techniques used include clearly identifying, analyzing, planning, tracking and controlling both mission critical tasks and less critical tasks.

We are able to complete the project on time and within budget because of our broad business background combined with the skillful use of both available technology and traditional project management techniques.
