(New Brunswick, NJ---) Renaissance Resource Group, Ltd. has signed an agreement with independent inventor Richard F. Stockel Ph.D to find a commercial channel for his patented antimicrobial compositions for use as oral mouthwashes and topical antimicrobial solutions (Patent No. 6,585,961).

"We think this technology is revolutionary because it provides a very effective germ killer without the necessity of using alcohol" said Gary A. Griffin, Chairman of Renaissance Resource Group, Ltd. "With this technology a combination of essential oils and certain surfactants with a hydrophile - lipophile balance (HLB) of 16 or above provide the germ killing and biofilm removal activity needed for oral mouthwashes ". "This technology allows relatively insoluble essential oils to become soluble in a clear solution."

Dr. Stockel holds more than 60 patents in the fields of biocides, medicinal agents, polymers, and heterogeneous catalysis.
